The Student Life Expo 2024 Contest (the “Contest”) is open to residents of Ontario, Canada, who are between the ages of 15 and 21 years, excluding employees of Pumped Inc. (the “Contest Sponsor”), contest prize supplier(s), Student Life Handbook Advertiser(s), sponsor(s) and judges, and those with whom they are domiciled.
The Contest Period starts at 12:01 am on OCTOBER 9, 2024 and continues until March 3, 2025 at 5:00pm. All times herein are Eastern Standard Times.
To participate in the Contest, do the following:
Register and complete the full expo registration at Student Life Expo https://studentlifeexpo.com/register There is no fee or purchase necessary.
Additional entries can be earned by completing various activities on the official contest dashboard page, and as provided and instructed on the official contest page. Opportunities to earn additional entries may change or not be available at all times.
The contest is available to all that qualify including those that attend Student Life Expo on October 27th 2024, or may have received a Student Life Handbook
Prizing – The main contest prize is for $2,000.00 (Canadian Dollars), paid to the winning student as a contribution towards their tuition. Additional prizes may be added or removed at the sole discretion of the Contest Sponsor. The winner will be required, among other requirements outlined below, to show proof of enrollment in a post-secondary school to claim the $2,000.00 tuition prize. Proof of enrolment may be made within 2 years of being declared the contest winner.
Any costs associated with receiving the prizing are the responsibility of the winner. The Contest Sponsor will not be responsible or liable for any possible damages or injuries that may occur as a result of the use of a Prize(s). To be declared a winner, the selected entrant will be required to sign a release, waiver of liability and indemnity in favour of the Sponsor.
Odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible participants who complete their registration, the total number of entries they collectively earn, and are submitted into the contest according to the rules and regulations. Entries will not be eligible if not entered in accordance with these Contest Rules or if not entered during the Contest Period. The purpose of this is to ensure an even opportunity for all participants.
Draw – A random draw by a representative of the Contest Sponsor or the independent judging agency shall be made from all entries received and will take place at approximately 12:00 pm on , March 24, 2025. Selected entrants will be contacted by email at the email address indicated on his/her entry. Additional draws will take place for subsequent prizes if and as they are made available.
If the selected entrant cannot be reached within five (5) business days following the first attempt of contact, incorrectly answers the skill-testing question, declines the prize, or fails to return a Release of Liability as specified below, Contest Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to select another entrant or to cancel the prize.
To be declared a winner, selected entrants must first correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question and must also sign a Declaration of Compliance with the Contest Rules and a full Liability and Publicity Release. In the event the selected entrant is a minor, the entrant’s parent or legal guardian will be deemed to be the entrant who must meet all contest eligibility requirements and who may accept the prize on behalf of the minor. Contest judges’ rulings are final and without appeal in all matters related to the promotion and the awarding of prizes.
Prize must be accepted as awarded. No substitutions, alterations, cash equivalents or redemptions will be made. Prizes may not be transferred or assigned except if expressly consented to by Sponsor. Where applicable, a Contest winner is responsible for all taxes, surcharges and fees associated with receipt or use of the Prize. Any charges and/or expenses not specifically mentioned as included in the Prize are the responsibility of the winner. The Sponsor does not assume any liability for lost, damaged or misdirected Contest Entries or Prizes. Other restrictions may apply.
By entering this contest, entrants consent to the use of their entry, name, city of residence and/or any photograph of or that may be taken in publicity carried out by the Contest Sponsor, Contest Suppliers, and/or its advertising agencies, without further notice or compensation.
The contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations. Not open to residents of Quebec.
All entries that are incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, have been submitted through illicit means, or do not conform to or satisfy any condition of the rules may be disqualified by the Contest Sponsor. Contest Sponsor takes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, misdirected, late or destroyed entries, or for typographical or other production errors. Contest Sponsor is not responsible for any errors or omissions in printing or advertising this contest. All entries become the property of the Contest Sponsor and will not be returned.

By entering this Contest, entrants release and hold harmless the Contest Sponsor(s), Contest Supplier(s), its advertising and promotional agencies, and the contest judge(s), their affiliates and respective directors, officers, owners, partners, employees, agents, dealers, representatives, successors and assigns (collectively the “Releasees”) from any liability in connection with this Contest or, if declared a winner, the prize. By accepting a prize, winners consent to the use of their name, place of residence, voice, statements, photographs or other likenesses for publicity, advertising or informational purposes in any medium or format without further compensation or notice.
This contest will be run in accordance with these rules, subject to amendment by Contest Sponsor. Contestants must comply with these rules, and will be deemed to have received and understood the rules by participating in the contest. The terms of this contest, as set out in these rules, are not subject to amendment or counter-offer, except as set out herein.
Contest Sponsor assumes no responsibility for failure of the internet or the website during the promotional period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any material in the promotion. The Contest Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any Handbooks that are lost or delayed in transit through third-party shipping or delivery agents and partners.
Contest Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this contest, or any portion thereof, should a virus, bug or other cause beyond their reasonable control corrupt the security or proper administration of the contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any web site or to undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, Contest Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.
If the identity of an entrant is disputed, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant. The individual assigned to the e-mail address for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address is considered the authorized account holder. A selected entrant may be required to provide proof of being the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the selected entry. All entries must be submitted from a valid e-mail account that may be identified by reverse domain name search. The sole determinant of time for the purposes of receipt of a valid entry in this contest will be the contest server machine(s).
